How to Drive Sales and Manage Volume on Valentine’s Day - safnow.org

SAF has new social media graphics to show your customers the many reasons to celebrate Valentine’s Day with flowers this year.

2020 taught us to expect the unexpected and be prepared for anything. Valentine’s Day 2021 is no exception — the country is still in the midst of a global pandemic and the holiday falls on a Sunday during a holiday week. With consumers feeling isolated and wanting to connect with friends and family, however, the sales opportunities for this year’s holiday are many! That’s why it’s more important than ever to encourage your customers to order early and make sure everyone knows that Valentine’s Day can be celebrated with friends and family, not just romantic partners. The Society of American Florists has new tools to help you convey these messages, and more, to your customers.

SAF’s Valentine’s Day Resource Center offers tips, tools and insights to promote your business and prepare for a successful holiday, including new social media shareable graphics. The social media shareable graphics include posts to make sure your customers know that:

  • You are open for business and have safety measures in place, like contact-free delivery and curbside pick-up.
  • It is important to place orders early this season, to allow for flexibility.
  • You’re the expert and will provide designs that make them look good.
  • Valentine’s Day isn’t just a holiday for romantic partners – promote Palentine’s Day and Galentine’s Day.

Download and post SAF’s social media graphics to advertise your offerings and the many reasons to celebrate Valentine’s Day with flowers this year.
