If you thought attracting and retaining talent was a challenge pre-COVID, brace yourself for recruiting in a post-pandemic world, advises HR expert and featured SAF Orlando 2021 speaker Glenna Hecht.
Because of the tightening of the labor pool, employers can’t afford to have their recruiting be slow or impersonal, says Hecht. “Employers should be asking: How can I speed up the process? Where can I find more touch points with the candidates?” she says. “In essence, how can I minimize time and maximize interaction with prospective employees?”
