The mission of SAF’s Petal It Forwards is to spread the word about the power of flowers by having floral industry members give two bouquets to a surprised recipient — one to keep and one to give away. In a recent article about how Petal It Forward’s mission is especially timely this year, the Society of American Florists unveiled a video to walk members through the updated Petal It Forward Resource Center that will offer guidance to participating businesses for a safe and successful event in their community.

The updated resource center includes ideas for adapting your event to pandemic safety precautions and templates to encourage physical distancing. You’ll also find tips for generating news coverage and how to talk to the media, social media messages you can mix and match with graphics and step-by-step guidance for hosting an event.
