With the rising cost of doing business, it’s imperative that your shop minimizes waste on the design floor.  

Two money-conscious florists, Kelsey Thompson, AIFD, of Bloom Floral and Home Studio in Algona, Iowa, and Doug Bates, AIFD, CF, of Designs by Vogts in Sturgis, Michigan, share a few of their tips to increase efficiencies and decrease shrink in this video.  

Join them at the SAF Miami 2024, the Society of American Florists’ 139^th annual convention Aug. 6-9, for their design-driven workshop that features examples of high-margin holiday designs. They’ll present several designs, and with the help of former CPA-turned-florist Cameron Pappas, AAF, they’ll discuss how the designs can save your business money.
