Set your DVR — “J Schwanke’s Life in Bloom” returns to American Public Television stations beginning April 14. The show debuted in April 2019 on 120 channels in 63 markets and earned J Schwanke, AAF, AIFD, PFCI, the coveted title of Floral Management’s 2019 Marketer of the Year.
The series follows Schwanke, a lifelong Society of American Florists member, as he shares the joy of flowers and easy ways to incorporate blossoms into daily life. Topics in season two include lavender, traditional Japanese flower arts, pets and flowers and the world of color.
“Research has shown the presence of flowers has an immediate impact on people’s health and happiness,” Schwanke said. “It’s been my life-long mission to show people how easy it is to improve their daily lives by including flowers. Viewers of season one have responded so positively to the beauty and relaxation flowers provide — even from just taking a break and watching the show. I’m excited to show many simple ways to interact with flowers, which can improve our environment, mood, and even physical well-being.”
